Guilty feelings
Well after letting my heart rule my head and trading Tavares so that I could have Savvy on my ESPN fantasy team (the mighty Trumpton Rioters). I've decided that it was a duff move and dropped him for Ribeiro.
And I feel so guilty for doing it.

Re: Guilty feelings
I know. But I still hope he has a stinker tomorrow night (especially seeing as he doesn't show up on my roster until Friday). I've got him in both my teams and have also got Morrow and Ott.
Hmmm, so I've got Ott on the Rioters and Thornton on the Divas, so what I need is for those two to beat the crap out of each for the entire game and get me loads of PIM points

Stoppit! You cannot believe how bad I feel about this
The reason Ribeiro doesn't show up on my roster until Friday is because I needed to drop someone to make way for Dubinsky to return and I had the choice of Savvy or Ribs. Meant to dump Savvy but got all soft-hearted at the last minute, and gave Ribeiro the heave-ho. In the cold light of day, I realised that was a really stupid thing to do, and am having to go through waivers to get him back.

What a mess! I can imagine that you would have kissed Peter instead of Jesus by mistake.

Oh yes, that's more than likely. And the "oops, my bad" excuses wouldn't have worked either.
Last season I managed to pick up the wrong Bergeron (admittedly, alcohol probably had something to do with that one)

Re: Guilty feelings
OMG! Are you implying the whole of Christianity is built on Judas Iscariot having one too many Bacardi Breezers and kissing the wrong bloke?
Wowser! Take that, Dan Brown.
(Can you tell I'm the only one in the office today?)

I am indeed. It's all built on solid research mind (i.e. the conversation above).

I wish I could go home early
But I've been amusing myself by browsing the Down Goes Brown website and laughing like an idiot at the Phil Kessel All Star Game text messages.

Howled out loud at this one

And the Bruins eulogy after last year's playoffs made me laugh (and then cry)

"Get out of the way or my dad will suspend you!" was the one that did for me

Re: Guilty feelings
DGB is my favourite source of hockey satire. The Superbowl vs Hockey comparisons made me laugh out loud a couple of times, and because I work in a secure area it's usually pretty intense.
I'm pretty sure my colleagues think I'm mental.

Re: Guilty feelings
I've had to stop reading DGB at work because my laughing disturbs my colleagues. First came across it when Buffon or Homer posted the infamous suspension flowchart in 606 and I've been a fan ever since. Love Gary Bettman's parties
All the GMs in my ESPN league have got the flowchart pinned above their desks. And I'm toying with changing my team name next year to Dammit Pronger! (Mainly because none of them get the Trumpton reference)
