The view from the nosebleeds.

BTW, that's a photo of the warm-up and not a 'too many men' penalty. Although with the Bruins track record, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Pavlec is either facing the wrong way or has been taped to the boards by the Bruins staff. No wonder Thorburn scored. Sneaky Bruins

Decent game last night. Enjoyed watching Tootoo destroy Larson with a mammoth check. Didn't enjoyed Ryder potting two before we were able to reply in the last couple of seconds..

Some great saves from Howard and Lehtonen though.

Indeed there was, Howard's robbery on Smith was just unreal. Game could easily have had 3 times the goals it ended with.

Looking forward to the Bruins rematch with the Rangers tonight; though I've got a horrid feeling that Rask is going to get lit up by Nash and co.

Don't talk to me about fantasy goalies! Mad Between 'em, mine have had eleven starts and won a grand total of one game. (Take a bow Carey Price.)

I am Smile It should be a good game, we have often struggled against the leafs early in the season so this should be a good test! Our third line has been on fire both defensively and offensively. Sutter seems to have been an awesome trade!

I have a real bad feeling about tonights game. Montreal were just crap, Miller had an absolute corker of a game the other night and we were just unlucky, but the Pens are a quality team.

On the bright side, tonight could be the first time I can actually get that bloody Gamecenter Live to work properly during a live game. Knowing my luck it will be on Premier Sports and therefore blackout restrictions will thwart me again!!!!

And that is where i am getting concerned if your third line is on fire then what does that say about the other two. The pens have got offensive depth from all areas, the D aint too bad and there is the flower to get past as well. But i do recall (last season i think) beating the pens in their own barn by a goal from the great Colton Orr!!!

Miller was just insane on monday, especially in the first period during the 5-on-3 powerplay. Think kessel was unlucky to not score during the game, a couple of more games and he will be a force again (hopefully).

Yep, and eventually one of those Phaneuf rockets will be on target and actually go in!!! We need more traffic in ffront of the net - as the old saying goes "you cant save what you can't see".

Well that was unexpected, a 5-2 beating of the mighty penguins. Unfortunately one of those 'Phaneuf rockets' fractured Joffrey Lupuls arm who was standing in front of the net........

The leafs thoroughly outplayed us last night. Their defensive structure was outstanding, the Pens couldn't get through their very effective collapsing D! There were a few dodgy calls in the game for both sides, and I was impressed with our PK in the second period it was immense. But on the whole it was a poor show by the Penguins

It is pretty standard for the words Leafs defence and collapse to appear near to one another but for once yes it is a good thing!

That Patrick Marleau 2nd goal tonight was a thing of beauty. Awesome passing from the Sharks power play.

I don't know if playing the Stars tonight is good or bad.

GOOD: They got beaten by the Blue Jackets and therefore mustn't be very good at all.
BAD: They got beaten by the Blue Jackets and therefore will be trying to prove they're not utterly useless, and a waste of their parents effort.

Turns out I worried needlessly

Anyway, Tootoo found his match in Dillon! Lehtfourin didn't have the kind of game I was expecting, and Datsyuk is the kind of player that continues to utterly astound me.

Datsyuk was very very good last night and that Dillon Tootoo fight was entertaining!

I am starting to get very frustrated with a nasty habit the Stars have. They seem to start off playing well and then (usually in the 2nd) they start taking penalties. Normally I don't worry as their PK is not bad but they have been taking penalties in bunches and the real problem is after their regular run of multiple stupid penalties they never get going again and the game is basically dead. That seems to be what has happened in 3 of the last 4 games and they need to get that sorted soon!
