Xbox Live League

I know some people have NHL 10 for xbox and play online possibly not in leagues? How many people would be interested in joining a small league of NHL teams? Obviously anyone who has the game can join so friends with NHL not in the fantasy league would be welcome. Could be something fun while we are waiting for fantasy results to come out

I would be up for giving it a go although skeptical after the one we did on 09 stalled because people wouldn't come online

At least with people in the league maybe it will be easier to harrass people to play as we are doing league stuff anyway

We seem to have a few even a small league would be better than no league and as everyone here has complaned about others not playing then it should be pretty active

I am pretty sure Marc, Monty and Jonzee will be up for it along with you and myself so if we can find one other then that is a 6 team league.

I'm pretty good at NHL and would love to join in. The only thing is I actually bought a decent games console and therefore cannot show you X-boxers up...

That's ok Ronnie, you enjoy playing on your own while we have the real fun on a real gaming machine instead of a machine that can't even get it's clock right

Ah, the MegaDrive. My first ever games console; and my first introduction to this sport called ice hockey. The very first design was the best looking games machine ever and I don't know why they deemed it necessary to change it.

Don't forget Road Rash, PGA Tour Golf and John Madden, Buffon!

No I have to original 3 button awesomeness. I have a few of those games, Micro Machines 1996 Turbo Challenge oh yes! I have Road Rash also and NHL 94 plus the game that got me started Mario Lemieux!

Don't forget the strikes Desert, Jungle and Urban That is the golden age of gaming right there

God yeah, Desert Strike. Had the funny ending where you receive a commendation from a president who looked remarkably similar to George Bush Snr!

I remember Fifa international soccer, where you could score by standing in front of the goalie as he kicks it! NHL, Road Rash all bring back great memories!

I had the 8 way controller! Although pretty redundant on Sonic 2 and Goldenaxe. FIS was class but the greatest was Fever Pitch Soccer, but I've never met anyone else who had it so I sometimes wonder if I imagined the whole thing.

Echo the Dolphin is still the most pointless game I have ever played.

Echo the dolphin was awful! At the end of the 1st level there was a wall of rocks that you can't get past. I gave up there and then!

I had standard controllers too but the crazy controller was about 2/3s the size so fitted in the hand much easier. I forgot how beefy the old mega drive controllers were. As a kid I wonder how I ever coped.

Just remembered World Cup Italia 90 with Mongolia! You could thrash Brazil 9-0 by walking it into the net!

Sensible soccer ftw. To this day, the best and most addictive footy game I've played.
