New divisions for next season decided!

According to the tried and tested method of random number generator used to great effect by the 606HL commission. Here are the new divisions for the NHL in the order they came out of the hat so to speak.

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Some great matchups I think you will find there. The Jets will have a nice easy division to ease themselves back into the league while the Habs and Bruins get to continue their rivalry. The Stars line up against the only 2 teams they have faced in the SCF (Minnesota days aside), the Caps and Pens get to go at it 6 times a season and the Ducks and Wings will get more chance to get to know each other properly outside of a playoff series. Also lets not forget how much fun the Rangers and Flyers always have playing each other especially in shootout games on the last day of the season for a playoff spot eh Marc?

Wow, that is the shake up of all shake ups.

I must say, i'm quite happy with how it panned out. It will be nice to get shot of Dirtroit and ****cago. Now teams to replace them on the hate list.....

I'm sure the eco-hippies won't like it either, what with Anaheim flying to NY regularly, the Pens heading to sunny LA a lot and San Jose building up a fair few air miles too. the Kings closest divisional rival is 1368 miles away, with the others all over 2000 miles away!

Minnesota and Columbus? Who the hell are they?? And I'm going to miss the Kessel baiting.

lol! Well our would-be opponents are certainly more glamourous than playing the likes of the Yotes, Stars and Sharks on a regular basis! Still I'd miss the local rivalry with the Kings so I'll pass on this..

Homer, if Bettman realigns the divisions to anything remotely like this, I'm blaming you. I can already picture the press conference. When the journos ask him how he came up with the new divisions he's going to say "well I was surfing the hockey forums and saw some guy called Homer had already made a stab at it so I just thought I'd use his ideas".
