Busy week sees complete change to the Beefs Empty Busy week sees complete change to the Beefs

With the team struggling near the bottom of the standings, GM Homer took the tough decision to move some of the Beefs most prized assets.

The last week saw the team wave goodbye to their best defender, two assistant captains and their captain.

Being shown the door were......

Duncan Keith
Paul Stastny
Jarome Iginla
Shane Doan
Brian Elliott

and arriving in their place the Beefs would like to welcome in.....

David Krejci
Andrei Markov
Alex Kovalev
Ales Hemsky
Howie Hole

The key in making these moves for Homer was not to panic and tear apart the stellar farm team in order to try and salvage something from this season in the pros and this appears to have been achieved. The Beefs have managed to get back a first round draft pick and have picked up a top goalie prospect that the team was lacking. All this while keeping fire power and giving the team a whole new look.

The Beefs would also like to take this opportunity to announce Craig Rivet as the next team captain. Matt cullen and Andrei Markov will take the 'A' duties.
