but in all seriousness it was a great save, saw it on the NHL highlights and was left gobsmacked. Optimy of play-off hockey though, putting everything on the line

whilst not taking away from the saves epicness... as it was epic, shouldnt it have been a penalty shot, using the hand to keep the puck out of the net whilst in the crease?

You can use your hand to knock the puck away you just can't close your hand on it. That was just an out and out great save!
