The Mcbuck Cherrypickers booked their place in the final round of the 606 hockey play-offs in emphatic fashion by sweeping the top seeded team in the division, the Knights of Columbus, the only team that managed to break away from the pack during the latter stages of the competition and who many, including this reporter thought would go far.

The fans where rejoicing in the streets, many in this part of the world do not know what it feels like to be in a final, more used to dissappoint and the 'nearly-men' tag rather than being in the elite. It was mainly in part to the keeper Voukoun who shut-out the Knights on two occassions, the secondary scoring proving that this is also a team effort.
