Trade rules
Trading is a huge part to any sim league and this one is no different. The trades will be agreed upon by the GM's of the teams involved and the method you go about doing this is largely up to you. I do require that you use MSN as often as you can as this is the easiest way for other GM's to contact you about potential trades but you may also send offers via the trade talk forum here: https://606hl.forumotion.co.uk/trade-talk-f33/ or via the 'chatbox' that you can find from the bottom of the home page.
Once a trade is agreed on, there are a couple of things I ask you to do.
Firstly one of the GM's will need to post details of the trade here: https://606hl.forumotion.co.uk/trade-announcements-f34/ in the following format,
Then the GM for the other team involved will need to use the quote feature and reply with 'I accept'. The reason for this is that once quoted then the original post cannot be edited, so this stops any arguements about a team trying to rip off another team.
Once the trade has been posted and accepted it will be passed on to the trade team who will authorise or veto the trade within 24 hours. This is done to ensure fairness in the league. If a trade is vetoed then a reason will be posted to allow the GM's a chance to modify the trade to make it fairer. Don't worry, the trade team will be fair and will listen to reasonings behind a trade, we just want to stop the Crosby or Ovechkin for Colton Orr type trades.
