Hockey Podcast???

Hey all! Yesterday I got the idea in my head of starting a hockey podcast to start up during the upcoming preseason. So far it's just me and an Oilers fan from twitter interested in going for it.

Anybody interested?

Also, I PM'd three 606v2 guys who posted in the hockey section around January. Two said they don't enough and one was Azzy who said he would but there's no audience on v2 and he's burned his bridges with you lot. What happened?

I've no idea what happened with Azzy. He flounced off a while ago, then came back and everything seemed fine. But then he disappeared again, so I must have missed something.

I saw him on v2 calling us all a bunch of in-breds though, so someone must have pissed him off.

I think that might have been me.... not sure how but he got really funny with me after I called him out on something!

Anyone care to give any ideas for a name?

I thought Odd Man Rush was an ok name, but a quick google shows there's already one by that name, and it's wasted as a Leafs only podcast.

It peaked at 178th most downloaded sports podcast on Podomatic.com.

I had a listen to one of them but it was really hard to hear your buddy, like he was miles away or something haha

Should be starting again tonight with a new person. Hopefully it's better.

Definitely a bizarre moment for us. We usually get about 40-50 downloads in the first day the podcast goes online. Checked this morning and it's 233!

Yeah. It's one thing getting your QoD tweet read out but the fact Jeff actually listened is amazing.
