Hawks 4-2 Kings
Pens 4-2 Bruins
Betting against my own team worked last time, so I thought I'd do it again.
If the Pens do win; are they going to break with tradition again and have Sid pick the trophy up?

Re: 2013 Stanley Cup Conference Finals
A meteorite crashes on the Bruins bus as it approaches the Pens rink. It then crashes through the wall into the Pens dressing room, and everyone is injured thanks to two broken legs. The series has to be cancelled.

No-one has won the series yet, so it still could happen

Re: 2013 Stanley Cup Conference Finals
But if the series is cancelled due to massive grievous injuries to both teams, and as a result neither team can advance to the Stanley Cup playoffs, it will effectively be 0-0

Hawks 3-4 Kings
Pens 2-4 Bruins
Just to be different.
So long as either Chicago or LA win the Cup I'm happy.

Blimey. The Bruins are up 2-0 in the series. I would have been more than happy to have taken just one of those games, but to take both is awesome.
They were unbelievable last night.

And the Bruins take a 3-0 lead in the series. Hmm, I seem to remember we've been here before and it didn't end well. but I'm still very happy.
Absolutely fantastic game last night. Pucks clanging off posts, amazing goaltending, two periods of OT, and Gregory Campbell breaking his leg AND STAYING ON THE ICE!
What more could you ask for?

Oh I remember that one! Against my Rhinos wasn't it? Didn't do him any good, poor chap, cos they lost.
Love his quote though "It's something I'm going to look at because obviously I've only got one now - so I've got to look after it."

Everything bar the result was awesome last night. I was convinced that a helmetless Sid was going to win it. Alas we now have to do our best Flyers impression to dig ourselves out of this rather deep hole!
NB. This isn't the flyers impression we are currently doing of shaky d and bad goaltending! Sorry Jonzee!

Re: 2013 Stanley Cup Conference Finals
Well if any team can get out of a 3-0 hole, it's the Pens. They've got the players to do it. But they will need Rask to have four stinkers too.
Gutted for Campbell. He's been having a great playoff run. It's going to be tough to replace him. The likely option seems to be to bring in Kaspars Daugavins and move Peverley down to center the fourth line between him and Thornton. Then move Paille up to the left wing on the third line with Kelly and Seguin.

Pete is just grateful the Flyers didn't squeak into the Playoffs to knock off the Pens. Again.
