Nonis makes a move

Toronto have traded Mike Brown to Edmonton for a conditional fourth (third if the Oil make the play-offs). A fair enough price for a fourth line hitting machine but apparently a player favourite in the locker room.

Not quite Luongo, is it?

Well it is to open a roster spot for when Frattin and Lupul return but I would have rather seen Orr's $1m contract go than Brown who for me gives bang for his buck and was a favourite with players and fans alike (as well as having an awesome tasche!) ...

Never wanted Luongo. Everyone knows I don't rate the guy and with that contract sheesh. Reimer is doing alright. I am glad he is being given a proper chance (when injuries permit) rather than being a bus mauled mut which was how Wilson (and Leafs fans in general) treated him and any other goaltender since Cujo.

Oh god...... Don Cherry aint going to be happy about this
