Season 6 preseason match ups for Monday

Here are the match ups for Monday chosen by the official 606HL random number generator. Each team will play home and away against the same opponent so please prepare lines for 2 games.

Why only a two game schedule? Not sure what can be gleaned from this especially considering we can not make any roster changes between the two games as they are both simming on the same night. Why the rush to start the season?

Because we have waited long enough I feel. Do we really want to waste another week to a preseason when enough people have lost interest and walked aready? I dropped 4 teams from the league, 2 people re-joined and yet we still have 3 teams without owners.

If everyone here feels they would prefer a full on preseason then I would be happy to change my mind.

Fair enough, was just unsure of the motivation to get moving. In that case why not just scrap the pre-season as it serves no real purpose?

Well we could do that, I likely wouldn't be able to start the season any earlier either way.

What does everyone else think?

I've found little use to the pre-season from a trying to adjust the tactics of my team. I suppose it could be useful for trying to figure out line combinations but I use a spreadsheet for that. Wouldn't mind it not happening and if anyone needs help with figuring out lines etc I can upload my sheet.

I'm happy with pre season or no pre season. It's all fine with me.

Right we will be jumping straight into the regular season tomorrow. I will have the schedule in dropbox this evening and will be doing sims at the same rate as before (3 sim days per day).

I can't set lines with my current roster. It still displays last seasons roster in the client. Also Will Iam isn't on my roster page.

These will be added this evening so don't worry, that is part of why I decided not to start the season tonight. As long as you are loading the sts file in the season 6/pre season folder then it should display the current rosters however (minus those above). Do you at least see the new divisions?

Yes all sorted now. What I was doing was loading the sts file once I was in the Brewers page.
