Blasted lockout

It should be the Bruins opening game of the season tonight. And normally I'd be swapping IMs with my work pals about who we'd got in the fantasy auto draft. Laughing at Mr C because he'd got yet another crap goalie; at which point he would remind me that he beat me in last year's final and is the current champion.

Then I'd be on here getting all giddy about tonight's game and making wild predictions about a Tyler Seguin hat-trick and a Tuukka Rask shut-out. And wondering if the Leafs were going to make the playoffs, before settling down in front of the TV with a beer and watching all the pre-game build up.

But no. It's not going to happen and I'm sad.

Seguin hattrick - no
Rask shutout - no
Leafs in the playoffs - no
Settling in front of telly with beer - yes

Boston 3 - 1 Philly (sorry Tuukka but that shut-out can wait for another day)

Looch will steamroller Bryz. Hartnell will back down from fighting Chara. Thornton will fight everyone. And Jack Edwards will say something stupid.

Excuse me, CJ, the Ginger Ninja line would get a hat-trick each, and the Flyers would win 9-8.

Sens 5 - Habs 4
Nucks 1 - Flames 8 (if I can't be optimistic for an imaginary game then why bother)

I also predict a collision Between the Sedins which results in them merging back to one person who we shall call Danrick.

I am not sure if the sim goes into as much detail as some of the predictions here but I will investigate so keep em comin!
