Assemble your ultimate band
I stoled this from v2. Basically the title says it all, if you could have a band made up of your favourite musicians and singers who'd be in it?
Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) - Male vocals, guitar and keys.
Matt Bellamy (Muse) - Male vocals and guitar.
Grace Potter (Grace Potter & The Nocturnals) - Female vocals
Emily Haines (Metric) - Female vocals and keys.
Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) - Drums.
Chris Wolstenholme (Muse) - Bass.

How about someone that can sing too?
PS I am a NY fan but singing isn't his strong point....

Oi you! It's a fantasy band. I'm sure Neil Young wishes he had a voice like Mark Lanegan, Robert Plant or Frank Sinatra. Imagine "Needle and the damage done" sung by Lanegan. Pure awesomeness.

You need more than just the basics - I'm surprised I didn't put a 'bone player in the band. And as for songwriter, to quote a beautiful lady friend of mine 'Who is Neil Young? For a songwriter you want the GLC'.

Ok for a hard rockin sound:
Lead Guitar: Jimmy Hendrix
Rhythm Guitar: Josh Homme
Drums: Jimmy Chamberlain
Bass: Macca
Vocals: Mark Lanegan
and finally just for the craic...
Gimp: Bez
And as for Leafy...I don't think you need a 2nd, 3rd and 4th line in a band...
