Sharks GM comes out of hiding

Since before last season's playoffs the Swansea Sharks have maintained media silence, A silence that was lifted today after GM Gwilym Williams staggered blindly out of a cave in the New Forest and addressed the waiting throngs. In a short statement, most likely due to Mr Williams' inability to remember the English language, the GM praised his team's success last season, despite falling short at the last hurdle. The rest of the speech was incoherent at best, with the only distinguishable words being "dissertation", "university" and "exams".

This reporter can but speculate that Gwilym Williams' pet trained giraffe has started a school for three-legged donkeys, who for too long have been discriminated in the labour market. This school must, obviously, have a strict exam code that requires even associates of the teachers to partake in assessment to make sure the best possible education is had by all. Also dissertations must be included somewhere, this reporter isn't a mind reader.

After losing his job, this reporter now lives in a hole in Tesco's finest luxury refuse disposal unit, from where he speculates that Brooks Orpik and Jason Williams will bring untold wealth and influence to the port of Swansea.

Other stuff also probably happened, but it is terribly uninteresting.
