The Colombia Steves are pleased to announce the folowing players will Captain the team this year:

C - Ryan Parent
A - Nino Niederetter
A - Nicolas Kerdiles

Early pre-season performances have been inconsistent for the Steves. Just one win out of three and some leaky goaltending. Janik Hansen has been the standout performer leading the team in points. This will be Janik's rookie season in the pro league.
The Dinosaurs have shown why they beleive themselves to be favourites for the farm championship with three wins out of three. Both goalies have performed well and speculation that Budaj will be called up to the pros has already begun. Bob Ring has stood head and shoulders above both Nino and Nail in the goal scoring stakes and leads the league with 5 goals. Recent draft pick Kerdiles is also racking up the points, making the most of his position on the 3rd line alongside Williams and Pandy. Yakupov has started off a little nervously and will hope to improve after just six shots and no points in the opening games.
