Free Agency stars on Friday and nobody has mentioned it.

The following list is a good starting point...

... take a look and let us know who you would try and pick up!

I think I'll just say Parise and Semin will be on everybody's wishlist.

I'll look at the rest when I'm not completely shattered.

The list maybe lacking a little bit of class, but it's not lacking in depth. There are some seriously decent 3rd liners, as well as some decent d-men in that list.

Anyone who thinks Parise will leave NJ now is very much mistaken. Mine and the Rangers (Apparently) first choice is Justin Schultz.

No Suter for you Mr beef! I am telepathicly telling ray shero to trade Martin to Nashville for Suter's rights! I would also like this schultz and to bring back hedberg as our backup goalie!

I expect the Flyers to trade our top two forwards (or JVR, who recently signed a long extension) for a few firsts and some semi-decent prospects.

You mean July doesn't come after May!? Shocked

Couldn't agree more. I made a very nice roster on capgeek yesterday with UFAs

For the Leafs this is not a great group since we need a) a #1 centre b) a vet #1 goaltender (de ja vu on those anyone?)
What does this group lack? a) a #1 centre b) a vet #1 goaltender (except the Vokonator but he wants to go to a 'contender')

I think the best the Leafs can hope for is picking up Harding. But it's okay, because we've just signed Komarov. You remember, the fella we drafted in the sixth round of 2006. You know the one, short, angry, "truculent". Still, hopefully there will be a decent No.1 overall in 2013....

As long as Tom Stillman is prepared invest in the roster. I would like St Louis to be pushing contracts offers at:

Parenteau
Penner
Gaustad

to replace Arnott, Langenbrunner and Nicol

Also:

Wideman
Kubina

to replace Jackman and Huskins.

You don't want Kubina, he was shit. It was so obvious that he was past it.

Well you can knock Daniel Paille off the list. He's just signed a $1.3m per year contract with the Bruins that will keep him in the black and gold for another three seasons. Personally, I wish they would hurry up and re-sign Chris Kelly.
