Off season schedule

Here are some key dates for the coming off season. If I have forgotten anything please let me know!

Last possible date for final to finish: 9th May
As soon as the cup is awarded teams may submit trades.
Rerates will be done and posted by 15th May (hopefully earlier!)
Draft date: 16th May at 8pm
Deadline to sign UFAs: 25th May
Free agency opens 28th May
Pre season to begin 4th June

Again if anyone can think of something I have forgotten (quite likely) then let me know

The awards will be dished out (thrown randomly) on the 12th May, so rerates can't be too much earlier!

Why can't rerates be done before the awards?

Because the rerates are affected by the awards - award winners get a bonus extra rating. Unless I slip Beefy the decisions early....

Hmmmm perhaps, I will check over the bonuses and see if I can do a lesser increase although most are fairly minor anyways to reward the winner. I will let you know

Request has been made to move the draft forward a day to the 16th. Will this work for everyone else?

I think the person with the most draft picks should decide when the draft is held

But Wednesday is fine with me.

Any night around 9pm works for me. I work most afternoons/evenings and don't get home until around 8:20pm.

When can I re-sign my own FAs?

You can resign them now. You have until Friday next week to do this. Just send your offers to mc_homer, then sportsportsport and myself will take a look at them

Are we still looking at Wednesday this week for the draft?

I had assumed so since beef hasn't said anything else

Any time now. Just take a look at your team pages and any that have 0 remaining can be extended. Send me your offers and I will pass them on. We will be fair in case you vastly under/over value any If you need any help give me a shout.

Even if I am there can you pick BPA as my drafting is shocking!

Am I right in assuming regular season starts Monday?

Nope it wont be. Sorry I haven't been able to set a date yet as been busy with plans for my bike ride. I will be away from Saturday to Tuesday so likely start will be on Thurs-Fri as it takes a bit of time to get the schedule ready. I will update the start date on either Monday night or Tuesday depending on if I make it home alive!
