Allergies to stuff you like

Now we've all heard of allergies, and some of us have some. There are the usual ones, like peanuts, fish/seafood (me!), gluten etc.

However, I found this guy the other day:

He claims to be allergic to bacon. What a poor guy. I really felt for him. It then made me wonder what other delicious treats people might have the misfortune to be allergic to.

Allergic to Cheese
Allergic to Alcohol
Allergic to Doughnuts - Somehow think the swollen waist isn't an allergy, but a symptom of enjoying doughnuts too much!

I bet Kyle thanks his lucky stars every night that he has no allergies...before he clambers into his reinforced bed...

I have an adverse reaction to eggs - this makes the Sausage/Bacon and Egg McMuffin a bit of a minefield. Still, the overwhelming goodness of the pork related part of said item means they still get eaten, and the good Mrs Giraffe has to suffer the consequences....

Mine is fish and seafood, which luckily, it quite a common one. Therefore it's often marked on stuff what contains fish.

Shame really, as I used to really like Tuna Pasta salad. It just didn't like me. And unfortunately, it wasn't a comedy swollen face allergy, but a digestive explosion allergy.

I am allergic to melons, now that is a strange one.

Used to eat them a lot as well. But then my throat would swell up and be in a lot of pain and the sides of my mouth would just be red.

Melons in both the fruit and euphemism sense. Zing!

Everything makes me fart. Still, I don't mind that although I can't speak for the girlfriend....

I absolutely love red wine - but it doesn't like me. I drink lots and end up throwing up...its an allergy...honest

I can confirm that DRIZ is definitely allergic to red wine. You think a swollen face is painful, you should have seen what happended to him....

Mature?! Having said that, I was described as being 'grown up and responsible' this morning, which has never happened before.
