Hockey Books worth reading
So with the new season in full swing, and my having been infected by the 606 Hockey League Quiz, I'm looking for some Hockey themed reading, now that the nights are getting cold and dark!
Can anybody recommend any top hockey books?
The one I'm probably closest to buying first is 'A Season of Loss, a Lifetime of Forgiveness: The Dan Snyder and Dany Heatley Story'. has anyone read it?
Perhaps people would like to list their top 5 hockey books of all time? Might be interesting to see what we throw up and I might get some new ones to consider along the way!
Thanks!

This one's worth a read (Theo Fleury's autobiography)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Playing-Fire-Theo-Fleury/dp/1600786375/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1319234575&sr=1-2
And there's also this one

Not read this one, but a chap at work says it's good (Bob Probert's autobiography)

Re: Hockey Books worth reading
Thanks CJ - I have looked at 'Playing with fire' a few times but the only thing that puts me off is how all the reviews focus on his abuse rather than the hockey side of things. I'll probably end up getting it tho!
I'll have a look at the Bob Probert book - I've not seen that one.

CJ suggest 'The Code' by Ross Bernstein. I wholheartedly agree. That book made me see the game, and past incidents in a whole new way.
'Oldtimers' is a great book too. And author spends a few months travelling with a team of Old school players and relaying their stories and anecdotes. Players like Tiger Williams, Jimmy Mann and Bobby Hull. That's really good.
Tony Hand's autobiography was also excellent.
