Fantasy/predictor?

Hi guys, I am back on the forum after the off-season break and very excited about the season ahead!

Just wondering if anyone fancies getting involved in a fantasy or prediction type game throughout the season? Fantasy will be hard to run so I was thinking more in favour of a predicting game.

How it would work - Predictions picked on a weekly basis for the games scheduled for that week, eg Friday to Friday will be week 1 etc.
Points system - Something like 2 points for correct team winning and then bonus points for the score range guessed.
-Result bang on correct = +5 points
-1-2 goals = +3 points
-3-4 goals = +1 point

Eg, I predict Dallas vs Chicago as 4-2 to Dallas (realistic ), actual result is 3-2 Dallas, I get 2 points for the result and 3 bonus points for being a goal out.

Anyone want to give it a go? Will just need to copy and paste the fixtures for each week of games, predict the result and then I will tally up the scores each week.

I will start a new thread with the first week of predictions which will start scoring from tomorrow night.

Homer, if you cant post your predictions then we could average everyones score and give you the points for the missing week(s) perhaps?

I can get some predictions for the week or something. I don't reckon I will be anywhere near the running for this so I don't mind if I miss out haha.

I will go over the schedule for the days I am away and message you them if that works?

Scores are predicted weekly starting on a thursday and ending on a thursday, so you can look at the fixtures and do them quite far in advance. If you would like to do it another way then thats fine!

That works for me. I shall post up predictions for this weeks games soon and then work on next weeks as well just to be sure.
