NHL Gamecenter

Just had a look and it has monday night's games up there. You can turn the scores off as well. I dont have the will power to not look at the scores when I get up! The condensed highlights look pretty decent too. 10 minute highlights instead of the 3-4minute ones on the main website!

Gamecenter is up for the new season. $50 for the regular season and playoffs.

Last year i think it was about $170 so even for a half season thats a reasonable discount.

I'm about to break all y'all fellow gamecenter subscibers hearts. All games shown on Premier Sports will be unavailable on gamecenter. The NFL blackouts on Gamepass aren't so bad because 2 games a week isn't much but Premier Sports are showing 15 games (12 live) in the first week of the season!!! And they have rights to NHL Tonight.

Your still going to get far more games on Gamecenter and it is cheaper.

When 3 of our first 4 games are blacked out, I don't care.

Supporting the Stars at last haha we rarely get shown so I can't see it affecting me too much. That is rather shit though.

You guys should say how missing just TWO games a week gets up the backs of certain NFLUK members. Getting mad about this is far more understandable than the NFL blackouts.

That "not in any teams market" line doesn't really matter. Gamepass blacks out the NFL games Sky show but that's part of their deal. If Premier Sports are saying this mid-contract then they don't have a leg to stand on.

Yeah I am inclined to go with what Premier Sports are saying. Can't see any mention of it on the NHL pages so far.

Im sure Premier sports showed NHL games last season. There were no blackouts then.

Thats what makes this disgusting , they had no blackouts this year but now decide they want to ? If they blackout the playoffs then what is the point of GCL?

Premier sports have just said on their Facebook page that the games showed with a delay are not blacked out. Reading through the comments, I'm not convinced they really know what they are talking about.

It's looking like the games they show wont be live on gamecenter, but will be shown after, which is fine by me as its rare I can watch live anyway.

If I can watch all the games the next morning I'm fine with that but blackouts in a country where you can't go to the games nor get them on national TV is ridiculous. Still not sure what will happen with the play-offs as they are all on NBC and as such blacked out which means they may not even be streamed for us.

I don't think it matters for us who broadcasts the playoffs in the US or Canada, last year they were all available.

That's the thing last year none were blacked out. From the comment on their website it looks like this is a new thing.

Look up their Facebook page, the most recent post is full of people, questioning them and it appears GCL are still telling people there are no blackouts. Even premier sports don't seem to sure based on their comments.

Just went on their official site and see they have a streaming service. A streaming service run through uStream!!!!!

How can this tinpot non HD company afford to hold NHL games ransom like this?!?!?!?!?

Yeah that's what it looks like to me too buff. I'll give them the benefit and say they we just a little naive, as apposed to them deliberately trying to mislead fans.

I've given them a piece of my mind.

Suppose we'll all see tomorrow whether it's all confirmed or the same carry on as tonight.
