The votes are in and here are the results....it was a close vote in the end and there seemed to be two distinct trains of thought in the voting.

Unfortunately as Monty is out of the country he is unable to carry this out. I have spoken to him and he has agreed to step aside and hand it to the 2nd most votes which means Mike will be GM for the Federov conference.

Now, a word to the wise, from someone who knows: DO NOT play Keith and Weber on the same line. They don't mesh well for some reason...Weber spent the last 40 games on the 2nd pairing!

Hope you can lead us to victory. Will be interesting to see how everything works!

Thanks for the advice mate and I will try my best. I intend to use at least one player from each team in the conference and will use the nominated players to make the roster.

If any other GM's have advice on making lines fit, by all means pm me....yes, even you Leafy, for the first time ever, I might even listen to you!

Wasn't the voting process so the 6 are the starters, so therefore must be on the same line?

I wouldn't - the Giraffes were shocking this season. Carter doesn't seem to like Americans/Canadians though - he was ropey with Ryan alongside him. I'm assuming only Carter and Semin will be picked, no one else really hit the heights....
