Idiot? The Nucks were getting knocked out of the 1st round, 2nd round, and 3rd round...they've been lucky to get this far, who could have foreseen three consecutive rounds of ref giveaways and lucky bounces?

To be fair to the organisers, the Nucks haven't played a final for 17 years. In that time we've moved from the Pacific Coliseum to (BC Place) (Hockey Canada Place) Rogers Arena, and it's become an internationally-renowned concert arena... and I expect gigs make more money than the hockey team!

That being said, Bruno Mars is a pile of wank. Fuck the organisers.

I can joke about this now but let's face it the only reason the Bruins don't have huge scheduling conflicts is cause the Celtics decided they were just too old for the post-season this year. Along with the fact that no one books events while the baseball season is going as they expect people to be watching the Sox to be playing 500 rather than forcing their fans to watch hockey for a taste of success.
