New signing for The Spirit?

It is being reported that St Louis Spirit are on the verge of making a new signing. It appears that a deal has been struck with Tottenham Hotspurs for 'The Bus'. It it rumoured Jose Mourinho - a long time admirer of The Bus - had made a bid, but he wouldn't meet Daniel Levy's asking price.

The Spirit have been looking for a defense d-man, and The Bus would make an idea acquisition.

Neither parties have made any official statement, although Harry Redknapp has been quoted as saying 'Its all bollocks, The Bus is staying put and will only leave over my dead body'.
