Player positions Empty Player positions

Hi guys and thanks again for your hard work last night! We will get there in the end Smile

I have had a couple of questions about positions of players and you may have noticed players listed in positions when they often play in another. Sadly in the simulator a player can only be listed to one position although you can play them in any position you like with a stat penalty if they play out of position. On the plus side, if you have a player who is listed for example as a LW but you want them on the RW then as long as they are listed here http://tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/ as a RW then let me know and I can change it before the simulator starts. It is not something I can change on a game by game basis but when you are building your team I am more than happy to do this.

Shame it isn't more flexible. For example the top Ducks line often features Ryan and Perry who are both listed as RWs - but it doesn't seem to do either one of them any harm to play over on the left! Would perhaps have been better just to have a "wingers" category rather than splitting it between left and right; its the same skill set at the end of the day.

Yeah, it was a good laugh last night!

True and that is something that they have added to the newer version. Sadly the newer version costs more and I didn't think it was worth it to be perfectly honest! Hopefully if we can get through at least one round a day and aim to do another live draft next Wednesday then we should be on about round 11 or 12 by then!

well round 10 is nearly done, so 11 or 12 is more than achievable Smile
as ronnie said, a shame that the wingers cant switch, but hey, that adds to the skill of a GM, finding quality left AND right wingers, rather than just packing their team with one or the other....
