Cooke gets 10+ first round

So the punishment has been handed out and I must say bravo to the league for finally having the balls to make a statement and say enough is enough with these plays.

Cooke is a good player and a great penalty killer but it is these kinds of plays that he is known for which is a real shame. Perhaps this may serve as a bit of a wake up call and cause him to concentrate on playing hockey. This punishment not only hurts him but hurts the Penguins as well given their lack of healthy forwards. It could have a huge impact with him missing the first round and one would think the team will not want him risking the teams season with more dirty plays.

Also props to Ray Shero for saying it like it is.

The only penalties Cooke kills are in the Penalty box.
