After falling out of playoff contention, GM Wood has started what it is expected to be a busy time trading players in order to improve for next season. The Chops have today parted ways with Roberto Luongo, citing personality differences as the trigger for this trade. He has gone to the Beefs, and in return the Chops have acquired Miikka Kiprusoff.

Wood is willing to consider all sensible offers for Chops players and picks.
