While still maintaining the pressure on the overall leaders, the Stevenage Beefs, with a couple of games in hand. Success has been attributed to the tweaking of the lines by the GM and resisting the temptation to not go into the trade market as often as last year 'I kept these group of guys together for a reason' remarked the GM 'we played some good hockey last year but did not have the consistency, i did not want to disrupt the team rythm that has been built by our fantastic coaches and players. Lets not forget the fans who regularly scream their rough scottish accents out day in, day out, the noise and the subsequent fear from that helps us win!'
