congratulate James van Riemsdyk in his excellent start to his career with the Rex, picking up an assist in each of his games so far. The young left winger was recently acquired by GM Jones in a trade that saw the Rex shift their first round pick to Mcguires Monster in return for the youngster.

JvR has instantly been slotted into the first line, playing alongside Captain Mike Richards and top point scorer from last year Dustin Penner. Matt Stajan has been moved to the 3rd line to bolster their defensive playing, Andy Hilbert has moved to the 4th, and Ville Leino has been re-assigned to the farm.
