Hahaha I have seen a few people say that. You have to wonder how much attention someone needs to become "rated". Regardless, he had many fans in Dallas that's for sure. He won't put up 50 goals/100 points but you can almost guarantee about 70 pts. Just look at these stats for the model of consistency.

08-09, 82 games: 36 goals 27 assists 63 pts 14 PIM.
09-10, 82 games: 29 goals 42 assists 71 pts 26 PIM.
10-11, 79 games: 27 goals 46 assists 73 pts 8 PIM.
11-12, 82 games: 26 goals 45 assists 71 pts 12 PIM.

Also in the 10-11 season he had a pretty serious illness that caused him to have trouble keeping food down and lost up to 12 pounds on a guy that isn't the heaviest. Yet he still managed to put up the points. So as long as you are happy with numbers like that and solid 2 way play he will do fine!

He also didn't miss any this year either. I didn't include this years stats because it was a shortened season. The same numbers spread out over 82 games came to about 55 or something so a slight drop but as he had real trouble scoring at the start of the season I wouldn't worry about that.

The Flyers signed Dan Cleary for a $2.75m cap hit. Putting them just under $5m over the cap. Can someone tell me how much putting Pronger on LTIR helps them? Are they allowed to go over the cap by the amount of his cap hit?

Ideally demote Colton Orr and JML leaving a smidge over $3.8m. Sign Raymond for a year at 750k and give Franson the same as Kadri at $2.9m and you're done with the following roster (lines will vary) and 200k to spare:

JVR-Bozak-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Clarkson
Raymond-Bolland-Kulemin
Colborne-McClement-Mclaren
Smith

Phaneuf-Gunnarsson
Gardiner-Franson
Fraser-Ranger
Holzer

Bernier-Reimer
