NHL dream draft

Some of you may have seen this already but on NHL.com they are voting and selecting the best ever players taken at each position in the 1st round. They are posting these every day through June right up until the 2013 draft, so I thought I would list them here as they are announced so we can all comment on how bad the choices are

Updated to #22. I wish this years draft would hurry up and get here.

Was no-one drafted before 1998?

Remember there were only 21 selections in the first round in 1990 so it is not possible for anyone before then to have been selected so far...

I know everyone goes on about the 2003 class but I have just looked at the 1991 class and that was a decent first round too!

Eric Lindros, Scott Niedermayer, Peter Fosberg, Alexi Kovalev, Markus Naslund, Brian Roloston, Glen Murray, Aaron Ward...

The '91 draft was good but it wasn't held at the Gaylord Entertainment Centre. No contest in comparing the two drafts!

You know I never realized that Iginla was drafted by the Stars.  

Haha now you do always wonder, what if we didn't trade him but then he did bring Nieuwendyk to Dallas who was MVP in 1999 so I wouldn't argue it was a bad trade.

How Patrick Stefan was not considered for the dream draft is beyond me...... he worked out well in Dallas didn't he?

Stefan was a genius. How else would he go down in history, it wasn't for lighting the NHL up number wise
