Re: Deadline Coverage
There are a hell of a lot of trades going on and the values seem all over the place i guess because of the upcoming CBA. Either way the last few days certainly have not been a disappointment!!

Re: Deadline Coverage
Comeau to the Blue Jackets. im happy hes gone, but if we had kept him playing center on our top line (yes, we really have been doing that) then we would have been guarenteed a great shot at 1st overall.
TSN's coverage has been awfull! twitter has been far more usefull for keeping up with trades.

Twitter has been great fun, but you have to watch for the sneaky bogus tweets. Nearly fell for one that said "Kessel is back in Beantown!"

Re: Deadline Coverage
Mission accomplished. I feel as let down and brain dead as I do watching Transfer Deadline Day after the last 10 hours. Productuve day.
Re: Deadline Coverage
One of the things I hate about trade deadline day, is that it totally screws up my carefully chosen* fantasy lines for the rest of the week.
Though I do have an unexpected Bruin on my ESPN team now. I picked Jagr up last week to replace one of my IR chaps.
* Oh who am I kidding; they're randomly picked.

I missed this. What the hell are Washington thinking? Easily the worst trade of the year.

Re: Deadline Coverage
The worst part was all the hype for something big coming from Washington and we were all anticipating something huge.
Re: Deadline Coverage
I checked in using puck daddy and there use of the hugely accurate 'Mike Milbury Scale', the Erat/Forsberg trade received a Two Milbury rating in which:
'A trade that could, down the road, burn one team in a big way. We're talking a trade of blue-chip prospects for a rental, if the team that's renting clearly isn't going to win it all this season. Joe Morrow for Brenden Morrow? Two Milburys.'
Although they do stress it could reach up to level 3 and 4!!!!
