Burn it to the ground!
So Iggys gone to Pittsburgh, Bouwmeester has gone to St Luis and Kipper is talking to the leafs. In return we have picked up 2 1st rounders, and about 8 goalies with no NHL experience!
Clearly the plan is to do an "Edmonton" and suck till the end of time
Feaster is really excited about the potential players we could pick up in FA with our new found cap space. Yes, other teams will need to shed some cap, but who the hell is going to want to sign in Calgary now? why not give Sean Avery a call just incase you haven't P***** everyone off yet!

I really, really hope Nonis doesnt end up acquiring Kipper - I just don't see how we benefit from a veteran who is having a shocker this term.
Whilst we may need a hand between the pipes if we actually make it to the post season, I dont see Kipper as the answer. And I can't see us picking up anyone like Miller (who I would prefer). Kipper just seems like the best of a bad bunch and thats not a choice I would make.

you have some good young goalies. patience is all thats needed right now. Kipper doesnt come across as someone who would play backup and mentor a young goalie.

And I forgot to say that knowing our track record, we would probably give you Kadri, Lupul and next year's first round pick for him!!!!!
I agree with you that we just need to sit tight for now. I hope Kipper tells Nonis he won't report, or he costs too much in a trade so that any potential deal stalls.

Jagr to Boston according to rumour-mongers. Which means he's going to Pittsburgh.
