I love your enthusiasm but I see us as a Bubble rather than a lock Embarassed

Also I would put the Kings as a Lock, but otherwise agree on the West.

In the East I think I agree with all of them.

Their main problem was in goal though. Lindback (providing he can do it as starter) is a much better goalie than any of their previous options. Plus Matt Carle should help improve their defence.

Saying that I think the Canes will give them a run for their money for division title.

In a way, its hard to predict a shortened season. If a team gets a good streak together anything could happen. Having said that, Phoenix were the only team to make the playoffs last season without already being in a playoff spot after 48 games. So that would suggest the length of the season should have little impact.

East - I agree.
West - St Louis I think is a bubble, and LA a lock so swap them. Also think the Edmonton is an also ran, with Anaheim as a bubble so swap them too. Other than that, I think you are pretty much spot on.

LA / Tampa Bay Final - long odds and backed by the same Leafy that brought you last years winners (also at long odds).

Leafy's picks for the Cup - LA, Tampa Bay or Chicago.

I think this season is going to be impossible to predict, teams in weaker divisions will have an edge on teams in tough divisions. Teams that play the weaker teams 5 times have an advantage over teams that play them four times. Teams that start strong and then fall off should still be im the mix after 48 games. I reckon
