I had Vancouver 4-0 LA & Pittsburgh 4-1 Philadelphia... So not good

With the exception of LA - Vancouver, shocking. Everyone I have predicted to win is currently behind, with the exception of Dustin Brown's boys....

One of two of mine are looking a little iffy!!!

But as Greasie used to say to Stain.... 'its a funny old game'

Let's be honest - at this stage these are all pretty good teams and it's often hard say which way a series is going to go. I'm loving the Flyers v Penguins match up and hope it doesn't end any time soon. The way it's gone you wouldn't rule out the Penguins making an amazing comeback. Surprised at the Kings but then I guess they do have a lot of talent spread throughout their roster. As Leafy suggested - possible dark horses. The Wings now have certainly got a lot to do against a very frustrating opponent. As for the rest....gawd know's which way they're going to end up!

And the Preds advance to the next round. So those of us who picked Detroit have lost any chance of a 100% record.

The Nashville Detroit series looks like being the only one I will get right in the West haha

And I know I predicted that Chicago would advance to the next round. But I want the Yotes to win purely for the inevitable "Blackhawks Down" headlines.

Some big surprises so far.

Kings take out Canucks, Blues drop the Sharks. Pittsburgh go down with a whimper rather than going down in flames, same for Detroit.

Ottawa are taking the Rangers to more games than I expected too.

Not bad so far.....except my predictions for the Hawks and Devils don't look so good. Boston prediction could be bang on!

Maybe this is one of those years anyone could end up lifting the cup...

I was thinking the other day....

Preds, Blues, Kings, Coyotes..... If I had said they would be the final 4 in the West a couple of years ago, maybe even last year, I would have been laughed out of the country. How times change!

Edit: I know the Coyotes aren't through yet but they were up 3-1 at the time of said thought

The regular season didn't throw up too many surprises (especially in the West) but the play-offs are turning in to a total lottery. Random number generator type stuff!

I have been thinking the same!

LA, St Louis, Phoenix and Nashville dropping the 4 titans of the West is crazy.

In the East both Ottawa and Florida could be in conf semis (!) and beating two decent teams as well. Philly and the Caps-Bruins series winner would have been happy with that. If Florida win through against the Devils and the Caps do the same against the Bruins then one of the Panthers and Sens will be one series away from the SCF. Now that really is crazy!

I'm guessing at the fact, that, we are the highest ranked team in the West, and they are lowest.

NBC must be crapping themselves at the thought of a Sens vs Preds final. People will be tuning into baseball and basketball in their droves. (not me. If it's hockey, I'll watch it).
