Hangover over? Empty Hangover over?

Post by Gwilla Sat Dec 10, 2011 3:17 am

After ingesting copious amounts of sugary coffee and aspirin it would seem that the Sharks' playoff hangover may be over. The last ten games have seen a 6-2-2 record that has pushed the Sharks into the top 4 of the Conference for the first time this season. On ice discipline is still an issue with team PIM's already at 366, by far the most in the league. The only other team to have more than 300 are Fumblesaurus Rex with 310. However, after a rocky start the revamped PK unit has begun to click with the PK% now the third best in the league. Especially considering they were the second worst in the same category last season.

With the offence returning to full stride and the goaltending duo finding their feet, optimism has returned to the city of Swansea. GM Gwilym Williams has also apologised for his previous drunken press conference, but didn't go as far as ruling it out in the future stating that "alcohol is an essential element of my managing style."

Well I guess there's one hangover that won't go away.

If I knew anything about cars I'm sure I would be able to think of a good joke in response...

Instead I shall fall back on old faithful: quoting the Simpsons.

"She needs premium dude, premium! ...DUUUDE!!!"
