Baby Beefs survive brawl in OT

Not the biggest rivalry in the world but with their team being outshot 38-15 going in to OT the frustrations of the Canadian Geese began to show as an all our brawl broke out at the 0:47 mark of the OT period. The Baby Beefs having two of their highest skilled forwards out on the ice didn't look too good in the fights with Benn and Moller clearly losing.

They would have the last laugh however as Moller scored the lone shootout goal to claim the win for the Baby Beefs pushing their record to 3-1-0 on the season. Moller also scored his team leading 3rd of the season in the first period.

This game should have been over way before the shootout. The Baby Beefs came out flying and jumped to a 3-0 lead by the 12:17 mark of the first period chasing Curtis McElhinney from the net. They had no answer for his replacement though as John Gibson came in and stopped all 31 shots he faced. Price was solid enough for the win stopping 12 of 15 shots plus 2 in the shootout.
