Last year's soul crushing end to the 606 Hockey season saw the Swansea Sharks lose out on a playoff spot through a three-way tiebreaker. Local news outlets were full of images of rioting fans across South Wales attacking police and causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. Though it was later revealed that none of the rioters interviewed knew who the Swansea Sharks were, or what hockey is and have since been dismissed as an unrelated act of 'criminality, pure and simple' by Prime Minister Big Dave.

This year the scenes were of celebration on the streets as the Sharks managed to fend off Mason's Marauders and clinch the Division title. However further studies have since indicated that the street parties were again unrelated to the hockey results with PM Big Dave describing it as 'festivity, pure and simple'.

Sharks and Marauders find themselves battling it out again in the first round of the playoffs in a high scoring series currently tied at 2 games apiece.

Sharks GM Gwilym Williams had this to say

"Ehrhoff is schooling them on the court Basketball"
