My thoughts exactly Azzy. Bryz's contract will surely outweigh the amount the Flyers have traded across to PHX.

I guess during the closed season, Philly will be offloading some more cap space. Summer Sale at the Flyers?

Well, Boush (0.9 mil) won't be back, Zherdev (2 mil) won't be back, Leighton 1.5 mil) probably won't be back, so that's over 4million dollars there.

Trouble is Jonzee, with the exception of Leighton, they are all UFA's. It appears (admittedly using capgeek), you have 18 signed up for next season, with cap space of $430,000. Loose Leighton and that is still only $2m for 3 players.

I would have thought that surely one of those big, nasty, long time contract players has to go!

But who? Who is going to want Briere at $6.5 or Hartnell at $4.2?. Is Carter really worth $5.3?, surely there are cheaper options that him. I know Pronger is quality...but $4.9m until he is almost as old a me....would someone risk that? Is Timmonen worth his $6m, if so, would he waiver his no trade clause?

Where do the Flyers go from here Jonzee?

Admittedly I would have Giroux at his new level of $3.75m...that would be a steal. So by all means, please send him to St Louis

If they can sign him then it is a great move, however he ain't going to be cheap! $5mil + is what I reckon he will want.

Hmmm my memory of the play-offs is a bit sketchy but I do remember Bo playing well in game one against Buffalo and Boucher in games 3 and 4, even though you lost all three due to shut-out king Miller. I seem to remember it was your moronic coachs fault for destroying any shred of confidence in the three goaltenders by chopping them after every slight slip up.

I'm a hetrosexual man and therefore not the best judge....but I must say....Chris Pronger is not attractive.

And I know he's a deadringer for Dennis the Menace, but I also have a bit of a thing for Mike Green too. (I've given up on Mike Fisher; can't compete with that Carrie Underpants woman).

If a young centre is available then you've got to believe Burkie is getting stuck in there. If him and Kessel fit though is another question. Similar to Kessel in that they both reportedly had locker room issues and they both like to score goals. He is a London boy so TO could work for him. Maybe I'm clutching at straws, I dunno since the Leafs seem to get linked with everybody!

Burke daren't show too much interest, because he'll be worried about Chiarelli sneaking in ahead of him.
