That is the speed Denis Kulyash hit at the all star competition in the KHL on Saturday breaking Zdeno Chara's record. Who would be a hockey goalie facing these kinds of shots eh? Shocked

Huh, you mean the player with all that protective equipment?! It's the poor sods playing D that have to try and block the shots I feel sorry for!

I'd give it a go...not a problem. I used to be an opening bat and fielded at forward short leg. I was more than used to missiles coming at me at great velocities.

I would need to have some matting in the goal crease. Many sporting injuries over the years have left me with extremely 'wobbly ankles'. This debilitating injury means that I would have serious problems trying to stand up on skates...

The fact that I am old. overweight and completely lacking in balance probably doesnt help!!!!

Very Happy Very Happy

Hey, Driz as long as you were able to avoid twatting the puck into your own net you'd be an upgrade on Halak, huh? Wink
