Hey, I know you follow the Blues so it's perhaps understandable but the full hockey season runs until June....
Re: NHL Gamecenter
LOL Ronnie.
But yes, I have ESPN through Sky and completely agree. I wouldn't say it's biased towards the original six. I've seen some excellent games though, and last seasons Penguins v Islanders was one I just decided to watch because it was on.
However, Iggy and I are on the same wavelength. There's something most satisfying about parking yourself infront of the TV, and knowing that there's hockey on.
As for sleep, I am a little different. I tend to prepare a little for particularly late games, and grab a couple of hours after work before the game, and then another couple after work the following day.
What kills me is the 4-5 game tours of the west coast, Playing Vancouver, Edmonton, Anaheim, LA, San Jose in quick succession means I always end up nearly a whole night's sleep behind.

Touche Sir
Since the lock out, come June, all the Blues fans are down The Busch watching Pujol and The Cards

Re: NHL Gamecenter
A guy I follow on twitter (MarkUKLeaf) has been having a right rant for the past couple of weeks saying that as we stand, there is NO NHL coverage available in Europe for the forthcoming season! He thinks ESPN are out of it on both TV and online!
I'm trying not to think about that as the prospect of having to lie in bed listening to it on internet radio is too horiffic!

I remember those days! I would rather not go back to that

Not a good start for Medge Consulting if they have the rights and still don't even have any announcements on what fans can get. Surely this close to the season they should already begin to be advertising packages!
Re: NHL Gamecenter
Going back to your OP, Homer and reading through that linked thread on the HF Boards site it looks like NHL Gamecentre may be made available in Europe from this coming season. Fingers-crossed as it doesn't seem to be 100% definite! Nothing on the TV though.

Yeah I had heard that so hopefully. Just wish there was some damn information to go on! They don't seem too bothered about letting people know about what they can buy do they.
Re: NHL Gamecenter
I found this site tonight which seems ok, its not perfect but it has the Pens Wings so i am happy!

Re: NHL Gamecenter
So ESPN have actually lost the rights to the NHL and are no longer showing it? I only bought it for that and the World Rally Championship.

I am sure the deal will get done. Just hold tight! These things are normally a game of seeing who backs down first.

Just noticed a post on the Bruins HF Boards saying that Game Centre has been opened up for Europe - $160 including playoffs.

Re: NHL Gamecenter
I saw that this morning, however it still says that its unavailable to Europe and that we should sign up for espn player. Which isnt working.
The best bit about Gamecenter seems to be the ability to choose between home and away broadcasts! So no more NESN hopefully

I think the best bit about Gamecenter would be its availability in Europe!

Good old Jack! One of the highlight of the playoffs for me was him screaming "GET UP!!" as Roman Hamrlik took one dive too many for the Habs.

Just signed up.
When i log in though, it asks me to register again... I have had to email support, so hopefully it will be fixed. I was hoping to watch a classic game or two tonight
