Has the Pens-Flyers started? I'm on the feed but they're showing LA-CHI

So, just watched the 1st period of the pens - flyers game in smooth HD on GCL and those watching premier sports tv feed in SD have had problems with the picture freezing. cheers

I've just tweeted this screenshot of the PS facebook comments with the appropriate hashtags in hope the NHL sees it.

Another little way around the blackouts for those who use Firefox or Chrome.

http://www.stealthy.co/about/

Its a simple button that's added to the tool bar. Just click it on, load the game and click it off. Im not sure how this one works but its letting me view all of tonight's blacked out games!

Also, its free Very Happy

Nothing wrong with the VPN. It was an NHL.com error that quite a lot of people have experienced. It went back to normal for me about 5 minutes after posting that.

Just to add to this.

It appears it connects through an IP address in Chicago. So there may be blackouts on Chicago games with this (although it did work with tonight's Chicago game).

The VPN works for NFL Gamepass too. I'll be watching the Conference Championship Games tonight after the Flyers-Sabres.

Anyone's VPN's stopped working? Mine isn't working for the game tonight at all no matter where I try it from.

Mine did but I logged out of my GCL account and back in and it worked when trying to watch the Bruins game.

Before I did this I sent an email to Unblock Us.

This was the reply.

I'm sorry your having issues with NHL Game Center, the problem is the NHL servers are *very* unstable this evening, as has been widely reported, due to the sheer amount of traffic. As you know many Cable and Satellite providers have been running free previews of the hockey and these have now ended. This has resulted in a large number of people registering with Game Center Live, and they're just unprepared.

This wouldn't usually be an issue for our service, but we need their servers to be at least a little stable in order for our service to work. Many users have reported that rebooting their device and/or closing the app and opening it again has made the blackouts disappear.

Hopefully this situation will improve over the next week, as they balance their servers properly,

I got the reply after I had got it working though.

What baffled me is that earlier on I watched the first 2 periods of the Pens game fine and then when I came back to watch the third it was blacked out.

Only issue I've had was I started off using the Spanish one but after a week or so it wouldn't connect to that server so I've been clicking the Italian flag for the last 2 weeks with no issues.

Has anyone tried changing feeds? I switched to the Habs game when the Pens went 5-2 up, just switched back to it on my own IP address and it didn't say it was blacked out.

Send them an email. They usually respond fairly quickly.

Apparently if you automatically renew your gamecenter subscription it costs $149.99 however if you cancel and resubscribe, it is only $99.99! You have to love NHL pricing structures!
